1962 Fender Jazzmaster

The guitar entered circulation in early 1962 through a documented Hollywood studio rental pool—its serial cross-referenced with Fender’s shipment ledger and era rental ledgers held by the California Audio History Project. The bridge assembly shows evidence of professional rebuild using correct 1962-thread screws and original-style spring housing, while the original Bigsby tailpiece retains its factory-installed VTB-2 vibrato arm and correct spring tension setup. All circuit components—including the 500k audio taper pots and capacitor—match known 1962 specifications and show no signs of later modification to pickup routing or wiring harness.
