This guitar’s build-sheet cross-reference confirms shipment in June 1959 to Chicago dealer A.R. Dunham, with early ownership tracing to a Memphis session musician via invoices in the Fred Tackett Archive. The original Tolex case contains a 1972 date-stamped studio rental log. Hardware—including the wraparound tailpiece, chrome cover PAFs, and tuning machines—shows consistent patina with no evidence of replacement beyond the bridge saddle, which is period-correct replacement wire saddle. The neck profile measures 21.5mm at the 1st fret and 20mm at the 12th, aligning precisely with known late-1958 to mid-1959 C-shape taper.
