Harvest Heartland
A visceral three-night escape during peak harvest, featuring five estate-only tastings and a fermenting-tank dinner under Sonoma’s harvest moon.
This itinerary brings you directly into the pulse of harvest, when the air hums with yeast, urgency, and the scent of crushed grapes. You’ll visit five small, family-run estates that open their cellars exclusively for this group, allowing you to taste wines straight from the barrel and understand how each vineyard’s soil and slope express itself in the current vintage.
The centerpiece is a harvest-night dinner held among stainless steel tanks and oak fermenters, where guests are seated on reclaimed wood tables surrounded by the soft hiss of bubbling juice. Local foragers and chefs create a multi-course meal using just-harvested produce, paired with wines being made that very week—offering a rare chance to taste wine alongside its origin story in real time.
Accommodations are in a converted historic farmhouse with private baths, walking distance to trailheads and village spots. Each morning includes a curated breakfast with seasonal fruit, local honey, and a summary of the day’s vineyard visits. Our team handles all transport, reservations, and timing so you can focus on presence and pleasure.
