In 4D.io, the Gantt chart isn’t isolated—it sits alongside the 3D view with synchronized bars. Dragging a bar shifts the corresponding element’s start and end dates in real time and instantly recalculates critical path, resource conflicts, and lookahead impacts. This removes the friction of toggling between tools and reduces revision time.
Sequencing decisions become collaborative. Teams can jointly refine phase boundaries or shift resource-heavy tasks to less congested periods by moving bars, then immediately see the ripple effect on site logistics, space usage, and adjacent workflows. This supports faster consensus during remote or hybrid planning sessions.
All changes preserve original baselines and track version history. When a sequence is finalized, it locks into place with full traceability—no lost edits, no conflicting files.
