Robert’s stays lit late, its hardwood floor worn smooth by decades of boots. The band plays straight-up country—no electric solos or modern interpolation—keeping tempo steady for dancing. Standing room only means you’ll need to find a pocket near the bar or wall until the floor clears after the first song.
The bar is narrow, so tip your server early. They serve only one size of beer and one well drink—no menus, no wait. Many regulars bring a chair for the back corner; newcomers usually start near the jukebox where the most frequent requester plays. The door stays unlocked, but the crowd thins after midnight for regulars’ jam sessions.
If you're wearing dress boots, you’ll fit right in—heel taps are expected, not optional. The band doesn’t pause between sets, just switches guitarists mid-performance. No AC, but ceiling fans and open front windows keep airflow strong even at peak summer humidity.
