But when rain hits, staff quickly deploy the Guitar Booth—a sheltered, semi-enclosed area behind the stage with a cleared path for audience. This setup keeps the show going and avoids turning the sidewalk into a puddle zone.
This switch happens quickly once rain starts, and the booth holds about the same number of people as the sidewalk. No extra charge, no long detour—just step off the wet pavement and under the tarp. Regulars know to watch for the orange caution tape going up and the band moving instruments underneath the awning.
Weather alerts come through the site’s real-time feed, triggered by local NWS data and on-site staff updates. The booth stays open until the rain ends or the set wraps, whichever comes first.
