Sandbox Mode

Sandbox Mode creates isolated test environments where teams can simulate schema changes, upload test payloads, and verify endpoint behavior before applying updates to live projects. Each sandbox includes preloaded dummy project trees and sample time-series datasets, allowing safe validation of annotation tree restructuring or new simulation field definitions. This is especially useful when migrating legacy annotations or adjusting time-bound simulation schemas.

You can configure sandbox instances to mirror production network restrictions, run automation scripts against production-like API versions, and capture logs for debugging. Payloads uploaded to a sandbox never propagate to production, and all operations are fully reversible within the sandbox lifecycle. Teams can also duplicate production project trees with anonymized identifiers to test migration paths for complex data relationships.

Once validation passes, a one-click promotion flow copies approved schema revisions and dataset structures into production, with optional staging checkpoints. All sandbox sessions are time-limited and include automated cleanup, ensuring no stale data persists. This reduces the risk of schema misalignment in regulatory submissions or stakeholder presentations.
